Breakout board from eSawdust arrived today. Didn't realise it had SMT components in it!! Eeek!!

Anyway, had a go at soldering it up (needed to be an octopus to hold everything). Didn't do TOO badly considering it was my first ever SMT soldering job. My 12v Lithium-Ion rechargeable battery unit arrived today also. It's a hefty thing. Might be too heavy, I'll have to wait and see what the rest of the payload weighs.

The breakout board, the tiny SMT resistor and a penny for comparison.

The FSA03 board on the Breadboard. Two voltage regulators on the right hand side. One steps 12v down to 5v (for the flight computer and servos) and the other steps 5v down to 3.3v for the GPS unit.
