There are a number of cut down methods availble : Hot Wire/Resistor, Pyro and Magnetic.


===== Pyro =====

Pros :
  * Low power use.
  * Light.
  * Very fast.
Cons :
  * Explosive
  * Accidental triggering can be very dangerous.

The legality of pyrotechnical cut downs is debatable in the UK. Given this and the potential for injury we have decided to remove this section. 


===== Hot Wire/Resistor =====

Pros :
  * Safe.
Cons :
  * Can be slow.
  * Can use alot of power.
  * Can be mechanically fragile.

===== Magnetic =====

Pros :
  * Safe.
  * Fast
Cons :
  * Can use alot of power ?
  * Heavier than pyro/hot wire ?
