 ===== Introduction ===== ===== Introduction =====
-
 Both the technology and the involvement in high altitude ballooning in the UK has now reached a point where it is possible to work on collaborative projects. The UKHAS Glider Project will be an attempt to put together a reusable high altitude glider system with the ability to land in a designated spot which will reduce the requirement to chase but also improve safety by avoiding landing in dangerous situations. While this may appear to be repeat of many other glider projects we hope that through collaboration between different individuals we will be able to successfully achieve our goals. Both the technology and the involvement in high altitude ballooning in the UK has now reached a point where it is possible to work on collaborative projects.
